For years, when drivers wanted to park their vehicle in Guangzhou in the evening they had to pay 10RMB, regardless of the duration of their stay. That is now about to change with prices still limited to a maximum of 10RMB per night, but with the possibility of paying less for shorter stays. According to Guangzhou Daily, car parks will now change 2RMB per 30 minutes.
