Residents in Guangzhou are celebrating the Spring Festival (also known as the Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year) with special attention on the forthcoming Asian Games in November.

On February 15, the second day of the Chinese New Year, photographers of the Official Website of the 16th Asian Games recorded people's activities at various spots of the city, including China Plaza, Tee Mall and Grandview Mall. Joyful citizens vied with each other to have photos taken with Guangzhou Asian Games' Marks such as Mascots, words "Guangzhou 2010" and countdown billboards.
